This past weekend we headed downtown, camera in hand, to check out the National Tree. We snapped some shots of that, the monuments, and pretty holiday lights around the Ellipse and on 16th Street. The lights outside the University Club on 16th (pictured in the last shot below) are SO pretty. I was also experimenting with creating shapes out of bokeh (using this method). I made my own shapes, but now I'm on the lookout for pre-made filters in shapes other than a heart!

The National Christmas tree and all round the W Hotel are my favorite spots to walk to at night! Loving the green lights on the tree this year!
