DC Fashion Week: A/C DC Designer Fashion Show

Last night, I was scheduled to attend DC Fashion Week's A/C DC Fashion Show at The Washington Club at Patterson House in Dupont Circle. Showcasing their collections were Corjor International and Andrew Nowell Menswear. Tornado warnings, beltway traffic and a delayed Metro resulted in my missing the actual show, but we did catch some post-runway action from the models. The dresses were dramatic, with feathery trains, mermaid-style gowns and layers upon layers of ruffles, as was the hair and makeup, with heavy, vivid eyes and bright lips from artist Richard Ray.
